Our 4H Robotics Club began in the fall of 2015. Our first competition was in FIRST Lego League. In that competition we are judged not only on our robot performance, but also on the success of our project, our business plan presentation, and our how well we work as a team. The project we chose was to help educate Wahkiakum County on Recycling. We chose this for two reasons: 1) Our club president, Julianne, had a long-standing interest in recycling, and 2) our county is losing money because people are not recycling correctly.
Our club now supports these teams:

Beginners – 3rd – 6th grades

FLL – 9 years old to 14 years old – tournament in Vancouver WA in December

FTC – 14 years old to 18 years old or HS – tournament in Vancouver WA in December

MATE – 3rd – 12th grades – underwater tournament in Federal Way WA in May

Hayes Dayez – 4th – 12th grades – tournament in Camas WA in June

Wahkiakum Wohbot Wounhdup – 3rd – 12th grades – tourney we are hosting at WHS on March 15th, 2018.
